The Medway Programme

What is it?

The Medway Programme is a 15 week programme that runs over 2 1/2 days a week. It's a personal development course for young people aged between 16 and 18 who are not in education, employment or training. 

You work towards a Level 1 Certificate in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development whilst at the same time improving your literacy and numeracy skills with the opportunity to gain qualifications in Maths and English.

The Programme includes practical activities, off-site trips and real employer experiences.

Medway Youth Trust run the course on behalf of MidKent College and you will be enrolled as a Mid Kent College student whilst taking part.

Who is it for?

For any young person who is not in employment, education or training aged 16 – 18.

  • Meet new people,  make friends and have fun
  • 1:1 support in learning and life

September 2016, January 2017 and April 2017.
