TrustCareers offers quality independent advice and guidance for students who have learning difficulties or disabilities up to the age of 25, to enable young people to plan and succeed in their future.
The new statutory guidance came into place from August 2014 and included support for students from 0 – 25 years in maintained schools and PRUs. The duty on the school is to ensure pupils from Year 8 upwards are provided with independent careers guidance. Our professionally trained staff can offer a wide variety of careers guidance activities to support the challenges that affect pupil’s lives which can include: education options, training, employment, housing, mediation and travel support.
TrustCareers staff are experienced in attending Annual Reviews and we fully recognise the impact that our involvement can have when supporting the needs of the young person.
