Formed in 2008 our organisation is not stifled by a long history or deep rooted traditions so we stay focused on what is needed and what works to achieve our mission. We currently deliver:

Duke of Edinburgh (Medway)

MY Trust are proud to have recently become a Licenced Organisation for Duke of Edinburgh. We will be supporting young people to achieve their Bronze, Silver or Gold awards through our enthusiastic team of trained leaders. Youth & Employability Service (East Sussex)

We support vulnerable young people living in East Sussex into or maintain their learning and employment. We work with over partners such as JobCentre Plus, Youth Offending Team, Care Leaver Team, Further Education Colleges and training providers. We have young people’s centres in Hastings and Eastbourne.  Find out more about our services.



TrustCareers is our service for schools, academies and colleges to bring high quality impartial careers information, advice and guidance to students. We have a comprehensive prospectus of 1:1 and group programmes to choose what best meets the needs of students. We currently work in schools and academies across Kent, Medway and East Sussex. National Citizen Service

In Medway and Lewes in East Sussex we deliver the ‘NCS’ each Spring, Summer and Autumn. This is a life changing team experience for 16-17 year olds that includes residentials away from home, then designing, fundraising and delivering a community social action project. New Horizons (Medway)

New Horizons is a three year international social action programme created and run by MY Trust which will raise the aspirations and prospects of young people in Medway. Each year the New Horizons programme supports its participants through a series of workshops and a 3 night activity residential (U.K) to prepare them to take part in a three week intensive volunteering programme in a developing country. Prince's Trust (Medway)

Princes Trust Team programme is a study programme for 16-18 year olds in Medway. Though a partnership with the Princes Trust and Mid Kent College we provide this 12 week full-time programme for 16-19 year olds who are out of work. The participants experience a team building residential, have work experience, organise and deliver a social action project, study Maths and English and gain a recognised qualification. The Medway Programme (Medway)

The Medway Programme is a 15 week programme for unemployed 16-18 year olds in Medway designed to build confidence, motivation and skills to get them back in to EET. Participants can achieve is NOCN Level 1 Certificate in skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development (QCF) including the opportunity to improve Maths and English.

Youth Participation

As a young persons charity Youth Participation is very important to the heart of MY Trust. We involve Young People when appointing new staff, in how to improve the charity, organising events in the community and much more. We have active youth forums in both Medway and East Sussex. LAC Bursary (Medway)

We provide small grants to support the education development and achievement of looked after children and care leavers in Medway. These are additional sums and intentionally not to replace statutory funds. PLease contact us for more information.

Apprenticeship Scheme (East Sussex)

We are working with East Sussex County Council to ensure young people in Lewes, Eastbourne and Wealden are supported to take advantage of apprenticeships. 

Routes to Work (East Sussex)

Routes to Work (16-18) is a fund available to young people who are starting an apprenticeship or job with training to pay for their first months travel to and from work before their first pay check.

Access to work experience (East Sussex)

Access to East Sussex County Council Work Experience placements (16-18).  To help young people gain valuable work experience we are able to provide travel and lunch costs for young people that are not in education, employment or training and are supported by YES, Youth Offending Team and/or Leaving Care.

The Kent Programme (Kent)

The Kent Programme is a 14 week study programme for unemployed 16-18 year olds  to build confidence, motivation and skills to progress into employment, education or training. The programme is currently run from our premises in Maidstone. For more information, please visit our Kent Programme page.
